The need for virtual events has only increased since last year, and it comes as no surprise how many companies have started hosting webinars to create more business and awareness. Webinars are a great way to nurture prospects and provide a low commitment way for customers to learn more about your product, company, or teachings. The user engagement statistics around webinars are higher than you might think. Here are a couple stats:
With these statistics in mind, it’s important to ensure our webinar registration pages are designed with attendee sign-ups in mind. Here are a few ways to enhance your webinar page to create the most conversion:
Get the form right. Don't collect more information than you need and make sure that you have a high color contrast submit button so it is easy for users to find.
Make the content really easy to digest. The best format that we have seen is: Compelling title, one paragraph description of the webinar, bullet points of what they will learn.
Include host info and a photo, but don't overdo it. Users like to see the host ahead of time but too much information about the host or too big of a photo can be distracting.
Treat it like a landing page. Remove the main navigation and don't hyperlink the logo on the page. This is will prevent people from continuing off to browse your website and losing their focus.
